I would say: a pretty good match now.
Problem solved. Good job, Mark!

Thank you very much again!

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

I googled "avrdude libusb0.dll". Lead me to https://sourceforge.net/projects/winavr/. After installing WinAVR the missing dll was there. I did exact as Mark had told and this time it worked. (Glad that Paul left a hole in the acrylic case to allow for the bridging - my first thought was that I need ...

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

Hi Mark, it doesn't work for me: msg.png It says "programm cannot be run, since libusb0.dll is missing". I shall try to reinstall it (?!) Not sure if I can find the .dll anywhere on the web ... but I'll try. I guess it is related to the Arduino IDE?! BTW: what is "USCFWUpdate900.exe" for? I thought ...

Re: Auto max recycle function: charge/discharge untill there capacity increase is < 10mAh

I already have another charger with such an auto cycle feature. It's sometimes very useful (just not when you need that cells charged fully the next morning). Went into that trap with the USC as well: set it to discharge/charge but it aborted during the night due to 'high resistance'. Cells were dra...

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

Hi Peter, glad to hear that I'm not the only one with this issue. BTW: I noticed, that the color of the two LEDs (those blinking while traffic goes over USB) is slightly different for both chargers. I'm not sure if this means anything - probably the parts are just different. But it could be a hint i...

Re: The Ultimate Dream Charger / Analyzer

In case you wondered about what I meant with frequency response analysis (actually "impedance spektroskopy" as a term would be more precise), this article will give you an idea: https://www2.isea.rwth-aachen.de/dataint/data/annualreports/2001/jb_2001-forschung_29.pdf In short: imagine plugging in a ...

The Ultimate Dream Charger / Analyzer

... looks to me something like this: http://www.digatron.com/fileadmin/pdf/eis.pdf I have been working some years ago on this project. Actually it isn't as complex as one might think. Yet frequency response analysis is incredible useful to determine SOC and SOH. What I'd like to have: - freely progr...

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

Mark,

I really appreciate what you are doing for me and for the project. Thank you very much indeed!

Please note, that I will be on a buisness trip from Wednesday till Friday - so I am available for further tests after that.

Best regards
Martin

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

Hi Mark, I did, as you requested. USB ch1 ch2 ISP + 0 00 - 0 00 I measured between the bold marked pads. Reading charger 1 (COM5): 3,03 V Reading charger 2 (COM6): jumps between 3,01 V and 3,02 V; eventually stabilizes at 3,02 V I have to admit, that my multimeter is not a good choice for that, sinc...

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?

Yes, of course. What measurement do you need?
