OK, you can download the program to extract the capacities from the CSV files here:
http://www.ultrasmartcharger.com/CSVParser.exe
It will automatically read all of the csv files in the current directly and then create an output.csv with just the capacities from each cycle.

Re: Did the onboard mode and button interface change for the shipping version?
Other than the charging current selector, the other button/switch should still work the same. If you long press the button while it's set in charge mode, it should try to charge an undetected cell. The V3 should be able to detect a cell even if it's at 0V, so that shouldn't be necessary though. The ...

Re: Eneloops: 5000 cycles and still going...
Yes, I did write a simple program to go through and pull out the info from the log files - I'd have to go searching for it to find it though.

Re: Voltage cut off termination
It has been a while, so to be honest, I don't remember how I did it - sorry!

Re: Is the project abandoned?
Unfortunately, it looks like the project is basically abandoned - I haven't heard anything from Paul for nearly a year now despite several attempts to get back in contact with him!

Re: Features I think would be usefull - now or in future.
The voltage is measured both during charging and like yours, during a "brief off-charge", or in my case a 1.5 seconds discharge So it does use discharge during charge. I don't recall reading that in the forums here. Super. Paul's original firmware did do that, but my firmware just pauses ...

Re: Features I think would be usefull - now or in future.
Unfortunately, the page that you linked to doesn't actually provide any reason to believe that it's much more than just someone's opinion. At best, it was written before low self discharge LSD cells existed. The claim that the coulometric efficiency when charging NiMH is only 67% is completely false...

Re: Features I think would be usefull - now or in future.
The UltraSmartCharger already does a lot of those things. To be honest with you, I'm dubious about a lot of the things that you're suggesting that the charger doesn't already do. Do you have anything that you can point me to that indicates a benefit to any of your specific suggestions that aren't al...

Re: Eneloops: 5000 cycles and still going...
Any progress? Sorry - I haven't got to it yet... I have previously look at IEC testing methods - If I recall correctly, the biggest hurdle in implementing them is to maintain consistent room temperature. Another difficulty was that the testing that I was looking at was at relatively low rates and f...

Re: Would this slow drain damage an LSD battery - or good idea?
I haven't done any specific testing with regards to this (although I have thought about doing testing) Based just on my own anecdotal experience, I would say that slow deep discharging NiMH cells can help to reduce IR and improve capacity on cells that have developed high resistance. The improvement...
