Re: Where do I start?

I have my head in the trenches most of the time and don't get on here as often as I should. I am currently working on a complete user manual with updated images for the latest charger and will post it online hopefully in the next week or so. When I do I will also post here with a link.

Re: Drivers for Windows 10

Hey Tim,
Have you tried installing the driver for the FTDI chip? You can find it here:

Let me know if that helps?

Re: Building own charger?

Sure, if you feel up to it. The very latest files haven't been posted yet, I need to get on that. If you do decided to donate, send the money to Mark, I am in endless debt to him for all his help. If you decide building isn't going to be as straightforward as you had thought, I do have some with var...

Re: cheap o flashlight.

Can you post some pictures? We would love to help you get this figured out. Maybe a picture of the flashlight and another of the inside of the head where the batteries make contact would be helpful.

Re: Configuration Utility

Is there a way we could make the file a txt document or something that anyone on any computer could open up and then change the parameters? I know this would open up more opportunity to mess things up, but it would also open up more opportunity for use. Something like H Charge current: 1200mA // <- ...

Re: Configuration Utility

Mark, This Configuration Utility is really great! I was testing some stuff for the LCD charger and was using one of the non-LCD chargers plus this tool to simulate some things. Works perfectly! thanks for making it.

Re: Discussion of Mark's firmware

"Added option to do top off charge on last charge - default is now off."

How do you access this? Is it one of the button presses or in the code?

Re: Discussion of Mark's firmware

Don't worry about pushing it on the test software, I can write enough to do basic test (which is all I really need to decide if this is going to work). If the test go well, I will move forward with buying all the microcontrollers and the rest of the parts in bulk.

Re: Discussion of Mark's firmware

I get the boards back Monday and if all goes well, late Monday night I hope to power one on. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if all did not go well, but I still hope.

As far as Rev number.... 1 seems logical? : )

Re: Discussion of Mark's firmware

Mark, I was playing more with Version 0.522 and had the the thought, we should change the message "Waiting for Cell to be Removed" so that when cells are already detected it says "Waiting for button to be pressed" and when no cells are detected it says "Waiting for cells to ...
