Received my charger

My charger was received a couple of days ago. It is hardware only, no doc/instructions of any kind were included. I'm at a loss of where to start learning what I've got and how to use it. Is something coming soon? Or does it already exist? Any pointers welcome.

Re: Where do I start?

I haven't received my charger yet and I'm finding this thread disturbing. What exactly is, or isn't, being shipped to us?

Re: Charging stops!

Peter, I saw you're an HP200LX user and I want to make you aware of a mailing list for that device. It's a great source for all things related to that DOS palmtop with members from all across the globe. hplx mailing list hplx@mail.eberl.com http://eberl.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hplx Everyone els...

Re: Best charger for NiZn?

I supported this charger for NiMH batteries. I never heard of NiZn until it was posted here recently. I hope my charger isn't going to be limited in any way so it can handle this new type that was never part of the original Kickstarter project. I also hope there won't be further delays to add this n...

Re: Constant Current Loads

Thank you for the explanation. It sounds like the external load while flexible and maybe nice to have, is mainly for cell testing purposes and won't provide the end user any significantly useful advantage in the normal day to day of charging and maintaining batteries. I don't do any tracking of my b...

Re: Constant Current Loads

Mark,

How would the average user (me) use this load? Why would I need to? Doesn't the charger have a way to discharge batteries prior to recharging them?

Cheers... Russ

Re: Configuration Utility

I originally got interested in Paul's charger(s) because of the claim they would be smarter/better than other chargers. My other chargers are basically each stand alone devices and as far as smarts go, what you see is what you get; some are better than others. I was ass-u-ming Paul's would be simila...

Re: Independent Charging Channels

Each digit displays totally independently even though it is still only being driven by the same set of electronics. Does this make sense? Yes, I understand those circuits and it is useful for a display because the eye can't see the flicker so there is no loss of function. However time slicing charg...

If that's a realistic price and price difference I'd go for a fully independent 4 channel charger.
