Discussion of Mark's firmware

Hi Mark, Just downloaded and extracted this, but I'm having trouble getting it to compile. I'm using Arduino IDE 1.0.1, and here's the error that I'm getting: In file included from state.h:4:0, from cvm.h:5, from UltraSmartCharger.cpp:5: EEPROMEx.h:159:22: error: conflicting declaration ‘EEPROMClass...

Discharge/Charge Results

I got the clock thing sorted out (switching to the 8MHz board in the Arduino IDE settings did indeed take care of that) and I've been working with A6_No_SD_Card_Write and capturing the output by logging to Putty, so unfortunately they're not nice CSVs. I'm planning to switch over and try Mark's code...

Re: The new boards come tomorrow!

Yes, I'm still alive--as Mark says, I've been mostly lurking. It's been a really hectic week, but I finally have a full discharge/charge cycle captured (seems like it shouldn't be that hard, but first I thought it wasn't working, and then I touched it to see how warm the batteries were and must have...

Internal Impedance

Right now I don't have a way yet to give a nice number for impedance I admit to being naive in this area, so this might totally be on the wrong track, but here goes: The "lumped circuit element" model of a battery models it as an ideal battery in series with an ideal resistor; working from that I t...

Termination Methods

[from a different thread] I've got high hopes for the results that we'll get with the inflection termination method - from all of the charging graphs that I've seen, it should work reliably even on cells that don't show a voltage drop and also at low charging rates. Would you mind going into a litt...
