OK, that's quite a big error - around 36 to 37 degrees!
I'll have to work out the adjustments required and get back to you.

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?
Are you able to do another test when the ambient temperature is either significantly higher or lower - that should make it possible to tell whether it's just an offset error, or if there is also a scaling error as well.

Re: Temperature reading off - calibration possible?
Hi Martin, I'm guessing that you're seeing the same error on both channels of that charger which is reading 15 degrees high? I'm curious as to what's actually causing that - if both channels are giving the same error, the sensors are probably fine - it might be the voltage regulator which is putting...

Re: Zooming in and out on charts with the charger manager
If you use the mouse wheel - you should see that scrolling one way zooms in and the other way zooms out.
Alternatively, if you click and drag from the bottom right towards the top left, that should also zoom out.

Re: Termination method: Temperature rise per time interval [dT/dt]
Although in theory, dT/dt should be a reliable termination method, in reality, I don't think that it is. Unfortunately, there are far too many factors that can cause problems - e.g. turning off an air conditioner in a room can lead to a sudden rise in temperature which could lead to a false terminat...

Re: Termination method: time (14 - 16 hours)
If you want to, you can configure a capacity limit which can be set to the correct figure to give you a fixed charging time based on a fixed charging rate. Keep in mind that the capacity limit is a fail safe limit which means that if the limit is reached, the charger will terminate the entire proces...

Re: Display average discharge voltage
If you're wanting to know the average discharge voltage, you can calculate it quite simply by dividing the measured energy by the measured capacity. If you're wanting to match cells based on capacity and average voltage, it's even simpler - just compare the measured energy and measured capacity - if...

Re: Lower charge current when charging is near complete
If you take a look at the sample charging graph on the main web page: http://ultrasmartcharger.com/ You will see that with the termination method that we're using on this charger, there is only a small temperature rise of only a bit over 1 degree Celsius right at the end, so I don't see any major be...

Re: MicroView Arduino Brain/Display?
The LCD charger was intended as an updated version which allowed you to see and control what was going on with the screen that is part of the charger. Unfortunately, there were too many issues with the screens and the controllers which made it uneconomical for Paul to keep making them, so we ended u...

Re: Auto max recycle function: charge/discharge untill there capacity increase is < 10mAh
There may be some merit in having a feature to automatically cycle until the capacity stops increasing - I'll have a think about that. I could be wrong on this, but I'd expect that most people that were interested in having such a smart charger would almost certainly have far more than 3 sets of bat...
