Annoyingly enough, one of the two 2 GB cards will not work. It is showing 30.6 MB RAW partition and will not format or even allow writing to it. Probably sitting on the shelf so long the flash chip went bad or something. Screwy though, considering they were in the same blister pack and the other works fine.

Have you tried using Image for Windows to copy from the good SD card to the bad SD card? I've got a pretty good feeling that it will work.

If certain parts of a card are corrupted, Windows (and presumably the official SD formatter) won't see the card size correctly.

If it doesn't work, it'd be a very good excuse to take them both back for a refund!

Also sometimes i have had luck with gparted in linux (http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ in linux) when all else fails. A long time ago I had some free card management from program from Lexmark (i think) that could fix anything, recover data from a corrupted card. I know longer have it nor can I remember the name (not that helpful).
